В данных правилах есть такой раздел:
"Waiver of Risk & Liability
Each of the undersigned, for him/herself and, where applicable, his/her family members listed in this application, their respective heirs, executors and administrators do hereby remise, release and forever discharge and hold harmless and indemnify TWC, its directors, officers, employees, agents and guests (collectively, the “Parties”) from and against any and all claims, actions, causes of action, complaints, demands for loss, damage, injury or death to his/her person (or, where applicable, the person of his/her family members listed in this application) or property, howsoever caused in activities at or in connection with TWC.
THE APPLICANT(S) acknowledge(s) that he/she is agreeing to this application for and on behalf of him/herself and each of his/her family members listed herein who are not, as of the date hereof, 18 years of age, and that personal information is collected for the purpose of the administration of the club and club activities, as well as communication about club programs and events.

Точно такая же фигня написана на любом билете на горнолыжку, на обязательной форме при прокате любого оборудования, при покупке любого инструктажа.
Во избежание, так сказать, подобных ситуаций. В макдональдсе кофе тоже горячий, а мороженное холодное, а микроволновки не предназначены для сушки кошек.
Любая уважающая себя контора или индивидуальный предприниматель обязательно такую бумажку даст подписать, даже если, наверное, шахматную доску дает на прокат. Вдруг шахматист в экстазе захлопнет её и оттяпает себе какой жизненно важный орган.
