Информация о ветровых условиях в гонках:
• Race 8 - still 15 knots, 58 year old lightweight Jean Asia is leading the Veterans and 8th overall, using an RSX 9.5 as his change down sail
• Race 7 - 15 knots, out front Nikos reaching out to the sides on his RSX and ending up a leg ahead, Joao and Barrie following on the Phantoms
• Race 6 - still windy 22+ knots, but at least 6 sailors with 9.5 sails, inc former PWA star Nevin Sayre (USA) in 5th after a 20 year absence!
• Race 5 - 22 knots and gusting but it wasn't all that bad in the end. Joao (POR 75) first longboard (8.5 RSX), Barrie (GBR 1) next (9.5 RSX)
• Wednesday - lots and lots of wind - tail end of Hurricane Bill - offshore and raining, but it looks like they're sending us out anyway!
• Race 4 - 18 knots - Olympians still lead the fleet. Tom Naylor (GBR) is the highest placed mere mortal in 4th, he is also 1st Grand Master
• Race 3 - 18 knots. Nikos finally finishes on his RSX - in 1st place. Joao 2nd, Barrie 3rd both on Starboard Phantoms with RSX 9.5 sails. 1 day ago.
• Race 2 .... 8 knots again, Joao won from Patrik and Barrie .... only those three could pump had enough to get their tracks back downwind.
• Race 1 in 8 knots .... ex-Olympians Joao Rodrigues, Barrie Edgington and Patrik Pollak battled it out at the front .... the rest followed
